What is our Mission?

Reaching up − Reaching out

Mission is reaching out to the people around us in fulfilment of the Great Commission to go and make disciples of all nations (Matthew 28 v16−20). Under the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we are committed to achieving this locally, nationally and internationally.

Our desire is to model the example of the Church in Acts 2:42−47. As we reach to God through prayer, worship and the word, we believe God's mission will be fulfilled through us.

We recognise that friendship is the key to virtually all fruitful evangelism. We seek to equip the church to reach out to their networks of family, friends and work colleagues. We want to engage with those living in the neighbourhood and partnering with other local churches/organisations.

As we were exploring our calling as a local church we also felt that the Lord spoke to us through Deuteronomy 10, v 18, 19.

"He administers justice for the fatherless and the widow, and loves the stranger, giving him food and clothing. Therefore love the stranger, for you were strangers in the land of Egypt."

We have tried to reflect this calling in both our local mission and overseas mission.
